Abstract: In the rapidly evolving landscape of education, characterized by technological advancements and digital innovations, the integration of digital literacy has become indispensable for educators striving to meet the diverse needs of today's learners. Digital literacy encompasses a broad spectrum of skills and competencies, ranging from basic digital literacy skills such as navigating digital platforms to more advanced skills like critically evaluating online information and creating digital content (Fraillon et al., 2019). As classrooms increasingly become digital environments, teachers play a pivotal role in fostering digital literacy among students and leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences. Almost every field has seen significant advancements since the year 2000 in particular, science and technology. The knowledge economy has grown throughout the world thanks in part to the industrial revolution, and this has created a massive labour market with plenty of job prospects. China has been surpassed in population by India (UN, 2023), which means that it is imperative to fully utilize this labour market. Due to advances in technology, international trade, geographic shifts, and economic acceleration, the world is shrinking to the size of a tiny hamlet in the twenty-first century. Global issues include striking a balance between economic growth and environmental sustainability, prosperity and social fairness, health and hygiene, peace, and education. Nevertheless, the process of globalization has remained uneven as economic development is prioritized. UNESCO (2010) has emphasized the importance of education in fostering human development, which makes it possible to meet global challenges. Fast-tracking educational reforms can also help realize sensitivity to realized culture, the environment, the economy, and the many different needs and wants of society on a global scale.
