Activity Based Teaching Learning Materials in Science at Upper Primary Level

Abstract

This is the academic report of the PAC programme titled “Workshop to Develop Activity Based Teaching Learning Materials in Science at Upper Primary Level” (Code No. 17.32/2006-07) for the State of West Bengal. The programme was organized at Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Bhubaneswar. The 5-day workshop was conducted from I Ith-15th December 2006 and was preceded by a one- day preparatory meeting of resource persons on 12th October 2006. Fourteen experienced DIET faculty members from West Bengal participated in the workshop. The programme team comprised three eminent scientists and educationists as external resource persons, and nine faculty members of the institute as internal resource persons.
