Description: Regional Institute of Education (NCERT) Ajmer maintained an Environmental Education Theme Park under the PAC programme( 22.10) namely “Development of Science and Environmental Education Theme Park for Strengthening School Education Programme and Sensitizing School Children for Generating Environmental Awareness”. This PAC programme was adopted to achieve the NCF 2005 goals under the slogan “Learning about the environment, learning through the environment and learning for the environment” This park was established in the year 2005. It acts as'living laboratory' for developing ecological sensibility. It acts as a common forum where students and teachers interact and discuss current environmental issues, concerns and challenges. Moreover, the visiting faculty and the invited students of the various local schools of the Ajmer not only enjoyed the programme but also experienced interactive learning on such a critical and highly important topic of environment education visiting the Institute's Environmental Education Theme Park.</summary>
